Luxenter lands in Puerto Rico in the biggest shopping mall in the Caribbean

The Spanish jewelry brand chooses Plaza Las Américas Shopping Mall to establish its first point of sale in San Juan, the capital of the island.

The brand Luxenter arrives to Puerto Rico by the hand of Dave Rodney and Zuleika Gómez, succesful business people and ex-CEO of SEARS in PR. The well-known shopping center Plaza Las Américas is the perfect location to open the first franchised store of the brand, because it’s the second biggest shopping mall of Latin America and the first in the Caribbean region.

Founded in 1973 by Carmen Lizarriturri, Luxenter has experienced an exponential growth during the last years, thanks to its proposal of affordable luxury for everybody. Its international network is now being reinforced by this new store, its second point of sale in the Caribbean region after the opening las year in Blue Mall Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Last year, LUXENTER arrived to Falabella, Colombia and El Salvador, by the hand of local partners.

This opening is part of the Expansion plan developed by the brand during recent years, with more than 40 stores opened. The place has not been casual, considering that Plaza Las Américas is one of the best malls for its wide offer and size, with more than 30 million visitors per year. In addition, Plaza is considered an essential step for international brands in their expansion process in the US and LatAm markets.
